Witchcraft, Debunk the Myths, Learn the Essentials of
the Craft . The study of witchcraft is a lifetime of study;
in this class I suggest one lesson per week, which would
mean you will be here for a total of 17 weeks. The material
is at times lengthy and the tests and assignments will
be a true predictor of your dedication. This is serious
action that will bring about serious reaction. You must
be 21 years or older to take this class.
Course Lessons: Lesson 1 Debunking Magick
Brief overview of general misconceptions and explanations/truth
in regard to Witches, Magick, Witchcraft.
Lesson 2 Terminology
This basic terminology will help you through the initial
learning process. Not an inclusive list just a way for
you to get started. With this list, you can pickup most
any book in regard to the topic and understand what
you are reading about.
Lesson 3 Belief System of the Witch
How a witch lives their life; belief in reincarnation,
harmony, balance, the use of positive and negative energy
to accomplish their means, living within the magickal
and mundane law, acceptance of all, protection of our
physical self.
Lesson 4 Brief History of Magick
Brief overview of the timeline of our religion. There
is much more than could be listed here. Included here
are the main points. I leave the rest to you...seek
knowledge.
Lesson 5 Ethical Practice of Witchcraft
There is right and there is wrong in anything, that
anyone does. Using witchcraft is not a way to get past
wrong doings.
Lesson 6 Witchcraft Etiquette
This lesson explains how to handle one self socially
in the setting of ritual, and other magickal gatherings.
Lesson 7 Laws of Magick
This lesson explains why living in and by the Laws of
Magick is important to the witch. Each Law is listed
and explained.
Lesson 8 Magickal Traditions
A brief overview of the Traditions in Witchcraft. Founders
of the traditions, and brief explanation about each.
Information listed here can be used as a starting point
for further research into different types of practice.
Lesson 9 Deity
What is deity, material suggestions for researching
deity forms, beginning tips on how to communicate with
the Divine. Cautionary information one should know before
working with deity forms.
Lesson 10 Angels, Faeries, Familiars, Demons &
Elementals
Introduces to the student the basic information in regard
to these entities who are an aid in magick.
Lesson 11 Candles, Color and Magick
This lesson is an introduction to candles and color
symbolism. The specific correspondences of color; i.e.
the purpose of that color in magick. How to cleanse,
annoit/charge the candle. How to use the candle for
attraction or banishing.
Lesson 12 Ritual
A description of what a ritual is, how it is formatted
and ideas on how to make the ritual representative of
the occasion.
Lesson 13 The Wheel of The Year
The Wheel of The Year is a representation of life. It
is a circle that is continual. An explanation of each
Sabbat with ancient and modern symbolism and ideas for
practice, decoration and ritual ideas.
Lesson 14 The Moon
Information in regard to the various moon phases i.e.
name of moon, spellwork according to the phases of the
moon.
Lesson 15 Rites of Passage
The Rites of Passage are the stages in life that are
recognized and celebrated by Witches and Pagans.
Lesson 16 Spell Casting
How to properly formulate a spell. Ethics and spell
casting, various spell correspondence charts, a simple
sample spell to bless and protect your dwelling, sample
cord casting spell, sample magickal rosary spell.
Lesson 17 Famous Magickal Persons
Many in the ancient arts have been forgotten through
the mysts of time. A few names remain commonplace. The
intent of this lesson is to give you the student another
path to pursue for enlightenment and knowledge.
